וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ לְצ֗וֹר (הישבתי) [הַיֹּשֶׁ֙בֶת֙] עַל־מְבוֹאֹ֣ת יָ֔ם רֹכֶ֙לֶת֙ הָֽעַמִּ֔ים אֶל־אִיִּ֖ים רַבִּ֑ים {ס}        כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֔ה צ֕וֹר אַ֣תְּ אָמַ֔רְתְּ אֲנִ֖י כְּלִ֥ילַת יֹֽפִי׃

Say to Tyre: O you who dwell at the gateway of the sea, Who trade with the peoples on many coastlands: Thus said the Sovereign GOD: O Tyre, you boasted, I am perfect in beauty.aO Tyre, you boasted, / I am perfect in beauty Emendation yields: “O Tyre, you are a ship / Perfect in beauty.”

זִקְנֵ֨י גְבַ֤ל וַחֲכָמֶ֙יהָ֙ הָ֣יוּ בָ֔ךְ מַחֲזִיקֵ֖י בִּדְקֵ֑ךְ כׇּל־אֳנִיּ֨וֹת הַיָּ֤ם וּמַלָּֽחֵיהֶם֙ הָ֣יוּ בָ֔ךְ לַעֲרֹ֖ב מַעֲרָבֵֽךְ׃

Tarshish traded with you because of your wealth of all kinds of goods; they bartered silver, iron, tin, and lead for your wares.
